The payment portal has recently been updated. As a result of
this update, all previous logins are now inactive. To access your account,
please create a new login or use the quick pay feature to complete your
payments.
Payment Posting and Penalties:
Please be aware of the following important details when
making an online payment. Accounts may still accrue penalties if your payment
is not posted to your utility account by the 15th of each month. A
"pending" post on your card does not mean the payment has been posted
to your utility account. Only payments that actually appear on the utility
account are considered "posted." If the online portal still displays
an amount due after you have submitted your payment, this indicates the payment
has not yet been posted to the utility account.
Service Disconnection Policy:
To avoid service interruptions, payments must be posted to
your utility account before the 20th of each month. Accounts with balances
still due will be disconnected on the 20th. If your service is disconnected,
you must pay the reconnect fee in person at the office before service can be
restored. On the day of disconnection, please call or come into the office to
make your payment to ensure your services are restored. Payments must be
received before 2:00 pm for same-day reconnection; otherwise, restoration will
occur on the next business day.
Partial Payments:
Partial payments do not guarantee that your service will
remain active. Any account with an outstanding balance as of the 20th will be
disconnected, regardless of partial payment.
Important
Reminders:
·
If payment is immediately declined, please allow
up to 7 days for the funds to be returned to your card.
·
Payments that are accepted initially but later
declined or returned will incur a Return Payment Fee.
·
Do not use the back button during payment, as
this may result in multiple transactions that cannot be reversed.
·
Transactions are final—mistaken multiple
payments will not be reversed or refunded.
·
All payments approved by your card company will
be applied to the utility account.
